The Park City Dirt Jam took place September 17, 2011 this year. One month earlier than normal. The idea was to hope for better weather than the past few years when it was held in October. Well, Mother Nature didn't treat us any better this year. Friday, the day before the event, it rained heavily late in the afternoon, only to create some frustrated people who have worked tremendously hard to revamp the entire Dirt Jump Park.

I met my brother Tate at the Dirt Jumps early Saturday morning along with some other friends to help get things set up for the event. Well, the rain had left more water than we all wished, but we worked hard to drain puddles, shovel, rake, and dry out as much of the park as possible.

The event was a little late starting, and the kids were cooperative but chomping at the bit to ride the newly revamped park. Tate opened the park around 12:30 or so, and the conditions were as good as could be expected given all the rain the day before.

The Dirt Jump Park has come a long way in a few years. Many hours of hard work have gone into creating a fantastic park. I'm really proud of Tate for all the work he has put forth and accomplished surrounding this Park City owned Dirt Jump Park. I am also grateful for Derek Thompson, Bryce Sacks, and many others for the many hours of work they have put in to make the Dirt Jump Park what is has become. Thanks guys, we are all very appreciative.

The sunshine started to slip through the early morning cloud cover and the event began. Red Bull, Silver Star Ski, Slim & Knobbys Bike Shop, White Pine Touring, Bern Helmets, Park City Mountain Trails, and several other sponsors through down swag, and plenty of give aways. Everyone got something to take home.

The Expert/Pro level riders began riding the upper set and were killing it. Mad style, and skills. BMX & Dirt Jump Mountain bikes were the bikes of choice.

Pro riders Kelly McGarry, Eric Porter, Mitch Ropelato, Nick Van Dine, Derek Thompson, Bryce Sacks, & a few others were there. The coolest thing about these guys is that they were just having a good time just like everyone else including the little kids 4+ years old. I suppose in a way, none of us there really want to grow up!

As the Jam continued & the dirt dried out more the pro line was in full session. These jumps are so big that when designed they put in a technical section called the "Squirrel Catcher" to prevent riders without the skills to hit these jumps.

Daniel Riley is a local teenager in Park City. During the past two summers he has been a Park City Employee and helped coach kids during the dirt jump clinics. Aside from being a good rider himself, he is a very creative cinematographer/editor. Some of the following video is filmed by him while flying a helicopter like device that he connects a camera to and flies via remote control. To top it off, he build it himself! Someday we will be sitting in theaters watching adventure sports where he contributes his skills & creativity to production.

I really find it incredibly cool that a municipality will step up, support, and allow such a fun place to recreate. To all those responsible for the creation, maintenance, and continuation to the Park City Dirt Jump Park

September 6-7th, is a great time to backpack. The Labor Day crowds have left for home by this point, and beauty abounds. A friend and I, went to Grand Teton National Park and did a 2 night, 2 day trip. Our first night, we camped at String Lake camping area 13.

We started hiking in the dark around 10 pm on Monday night. From our headlamps, we saw some other animals eyes in the dark which was a little scary considering the recent book I've been reading; 'Mark of The Grizzley, True Stories of Recent Bear Attacks & The Hard Lessons Learned', by Scott McMillion.

The next morning, we broke camp and started hiking up Paintbrush Canyon. It was a beautiful morning; clear with little wind. We backpacked up the canyon and took a brief break to catch our breath as we climbed over 4000 feet. We stopped for lunch at Holly Lake. It was chilly, and the cloud cover began to roll in and it became darker with rain clouds moving quickly over the ridge of the divide.

The rain began to fall and it cooled off quicly. I thought we might be in for a rough next several hours considering our backcountry permit for the night required us to continue into the North Fork of Cascade Canyon.

As the rain fell, we huddled for a few minutes next to a large dead tree that provided shelter from the wind and rain. After about 15 minutes, the rain tapered and we decided to press on and head up to Paintbrush Divide while hoping for continued good weather. As we hiked up the trail, the weather changed for the better. However, we passed many people coming down from Paintbrush Divide. All of them said that the weather on the divide was pretty cold, snowing, and very windy. I guess it should not suprise anyone that's how it is at 10,700 feet in the Teton Range in September.

There were a couple of men coming down the trail that were fully loaded with heavy backpacks, trekking poles, and all the gear. As we passed one another of course the typical backcountry exchange occurred. "How's it going?" I asked. "Good, but we turned around at the divide", one of the two men responded. "Oh yeah, how come?" I inquired. "The pass is so exposed and dangerous to cross, you have to be crazy! Hell, we are on vacation from Michigan & it's just not worth it pushing it too far" was his response. We exchanged our best wishes and continued on our way.

I thought to myself the pass can't be that bad otherwise we would have been warned by the Rangers when we picked up the Backcountry Camping Permits. No warning, therefore it can't be that bad so we pressed on. A short time later we encountered several other parties all of which came over from Cascade Canyon passing over the Divide. All of them said there were a few steps that required some concentration, but it was easily accomplished.

As we continued hiking up toward the divide we saw some ski tracks in the snowfield below. I'm always amazed how passion for skiing will make someone work so hard to get a few turns in during the summer months....whoever you are that put down these tracks, you have my respect!

We continued hiking up the trail and over the Paintbrush Divide (which was not nearly as exposed or scary as our friends from Michigan said). From the top of the divide at 10,700 feet, you have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain range in the area. Also, a beautiful view of the Tetons.

We didn't stay long on the divide because it was very windy & it started to snow. The clouds rolling in over The Grand created for some very cool views & photos.

As we passed over the Divide, we started to decend down into the North Fork of Cascade Canyon. You can see the trail is very obvious at this point, but has tons of rocks and has great views of Solitude Lake along with a birds eye view of the entire canyon.

After hiking down the canyon, past Solitude Lake, and a huge Mule Buck we found one of about 5 designated camps in the North Fork of Cascade Canyon. We set up camp, made dinner, and then enjoyed the view from The Room At The Top of The World. The sun set, and the moon rose above The Grand. The end of a great day!

The next morning, we took our time getting up and heading out. We descended Cascade Canyon and headed back to the truck at the String Lake Trailhead. As we were hiking out, we passed our two friends from Michigan. They were hiking up Cascade Canyon. As we passed each other, I recognized the two men & said hello again. We stopped and visited about our trips. Evidently, the night before they descended all the way to Jenny Lake Lodge. They asked how The Divide passage was for us, and we said it was a lot like they said, but we were able to navigate it safely (again, it really wasn't that bad). We parted ways, & I could not help but chuckle & be grateful for growing up in the West.
I had a great trip and enjoyed being outside. It gave me time to clear my head, remember old friends, make some new friends, and simply enjoy being outside again.

The event is a fund raising effort for Multiple Sclerosis. I was one of the lucky participants and had a great time.

I proposed the idea to my employer to sponsor interested employees enabling participation in the charitable event. They graciously agreed to do so, and contributed the necessary fund raising requirements for several of us to participate.

The event was fantastic. It was a beautiful day in Cache Valley. The route is mostly flat, and the surrounding views were fantastic. I planned on riding 100 miles, but the week of the event I became sick with what seemed to be the 24 hour flu. Obviously, I was concerned that I may not be able to complete the full 100 miles. However, I was able to accomplish the goal of 100 miles.

Yes, it was my first century ride. To some, this may not seem that big of a deal (and I suppose it's not), but I was happy that I accomplished my personal goal. More endurance rides await!

The data from the Garmin Edge 800 cycling computer is below. I hope that I will be able to participate in this same event in the future. It was completely enjoyable, and a great cause as well. I had a great winter season, enjoyed some great friendships, made some new friends, and skied a fair amount as a "Full Time Employee" of one of many public companies in our struggling economy.

The winter re-affirmed that I don't necessarily love having to work, but that with some creative time management I can get a few extra days on the hill.

Yes, Snowbird is still open on the weekends through the end of May and possibly into June with the record snowfall totals, but I think I'm focused on riding my bikes instead of skiing. Who knows, maybe I'll get another day or two of skiing before the year is done.

Winter 2010/2011 totals maintained by Suunto Wrist Top Computer:

Days: 66 (21 powder days; 4 days on the Snowboard)

Runs: 616

Vertical Fee: 911,100

Backcountry Tours: 3

Ten things I appreciate from this past winter:

1. Get up early and beat the traffic on a powder day.

2. Have patience on a busy powder day while the canyon is closed and traffic is at a standstill.

3. Manage your fear and use it to your advantage creating greater focus and confidence.

4. Be creative and ski lines that do not immediately look interesting.

5. Have courage, and speak to the local attractive females at EVERY opportunity.

6. Have MORE courage if those females in #5 are rippers.

7. Straight line to get out of a tough line.

8. Know when to say, "Ten More".

9. Rocker skis are awesome for the Wasatch Front.

10. Snowbird is a big place with plenty of future opportunity to explore more skiable acres.

This past winter was great. I had a fantastic time and hope that my knees will hold up for several more years to come. I do not know what I will do if I can't ski; I love it way to much! With today being much warmer than normal for December here in SLC, UT I felt much inclined to dust off the road bike and go pedal. Excuses aside, I didn't go today after all.

With warm temperatures, and 10 days of skiing already in the bag, today my thoughts turned to biking vs. powder faceshots. Oh how I wish I could ride!

Snow is in the 10 day forecast, so my thoughts may drift back to the "White Room" before long. As such, I'll hold off from reading the latest Bike & Mountain Bike Action Magazines that arrived last week and try to maintain the correct seasonal perspective and keep turning the pages of Powder Magazine instead!

The information below is tracking from April 1, 2010 to today for Road & Mountain events.

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-890556098994320109.post-49495931418921849542010-11-07T19:55:00.012-07:002010-11-07T21:31:11.900-07:00Bikes, Drivetrains, & ImpressionsI recently completed the custom build of a 2011 Specialized Enduro S-Works frame. I decided to build the bike with specific products of interest. My build is similar to the spec bike made by Specialized. It's sweet: 2011 Specialized S-Works Enduro

The people at Specialized are awesome. I was missing a needed part for the headset. In a pinch & on a Friday late in the afternoon, I was able to go visit them at their warehouse in SLC and pick up the needed part.

Major shout out to Don of Customer Service at Specialized....he is smart, helpful, and super nice. Ironically, when I shook hands with him I recognized him from a conversation we had one evening on the trail. I remember it specifically because he was riding the bike I would soon be building. We talked about it, and he raved how awesome it is....turns out that he speaks the truth!

I will always ride products made by Specialized and have for many years. Their products are the best, they have always been helpful, and they stand behind their products 100%.

My build ended up very similar to this, but with a few key differences.

Everyone in the biking world has heard about Sram and how awesome they are. I wouldn't say that I was skeptical, but I'm not always a big fan to move away from what I've grown comfortable with in the typical 3x9 drive trains we all have ridden on for years. It works, it's reliable, and proven, right?

Let me be honest. I thought to myself that if I didn't like 2x10, I'd sell it off and go back to what I was comfortable with given years of riding. No big deal!

Well, the boys at Binghams Bicycles in Sandy, UT really know what they are talking about. The 2x10 set up is AWESOME! Lighter, faster, and the ratios make much better sense.

For the first couple of rides on the new build, I intentionally rode trails I have ridden many times. The idea behind doing so was to work out the gearing ratios, compare lap times, and dial in the suspension, and work out any other fit related kinks common to a new bike.

Yesterday, on the maiden voyage ride, I rode the Corner Canyon trails in Draper, UT. As I was climbing up Clarks Trail, I felt like I was a lot slower than normal. Once I crested out, and hit the lap button on my computer, I found it was the fastest time of the season.

Maybe it was because I was excited to ride a new bike. Maybe it was because I didn't ride the day before. Maybe it was because the gear ratios were better for me and as a result I could push a larger gear without noticing it as much compared to the 3x9 set up. Obviously there is plenty of room for discussion surrounding these ideas, but I think it was because of the 2x10 drivetrain primarily.

Today's splits showed the same improvement, and on a different trail system here in SLC.

The Crankbrothers Iodine wheels are great and a bit of a risky purchase. Spendy, $950 MSRP, and totally different than most wheels on the market. The wheels are super stiff, are quick to roll, & are true after a few downhill sessions on the Bobsled trail.

Many opinions surround these wheels, but my initial impression is a positive one. I read many reviews where people would complain/cheer about the hub noise. There is no secret, it's a loud hub. In fact, it's louder than I thought it would be. I suppose I will not notice it after a while, and when I do it will serve as a reminder to pedal.

Perhaps my riding buddies will get a pair of their own, or learn to ride faster to get ahead of the noise; either way, I like the wheels.

The 2011 Fox Talas 36 RLC fork is sick! This weekend has been rainy, cold, and windy. All 3 combinations don't add up to very good riding weather. I have to admit, I have mixed feelings to the change in the weather. Yes, on one hand, I'm excited for the change because it means skiing is right around the corner. No, on the other hand, I'm not excited about it because it has made for a long weekend of being inside and NOT on the bike. The next few days do not look very promising either.

Early this year I made it a goal to ride at least 4 days per week until the fall when the weather change makes it difficult to ride. I'm proud to say I kept my goal. Between road and mountain, I did it. Some days I'd get home from work and would not want to ride because I was tired, bored, or something else. However, I stayed motivated by the goal which I set early in the year. For every ride I left the house feeling not up to it, I returned with fantastic feelings of accomplishment and was ALWAYS happy that I got a ride in.

This is the data from the year thus far for both road and mountain combined.....so those of you that are roadies that read this can think I'm slow; and the mountain bikers will think I'm pretty fast; regardless of what you like to ride, it makes little difference to me. Fast, slow, crash, jump, downhill, XC, dirt jumps, lift served......it's all good to me! I just like the feeling of riding regardless of what discipline.

When I'm not able to ride, I find myself scrambling for things to do. Of course there is always something to do, but I find myself feeling a bit out of place if the weather beats me to the punch and keeps the wheels from rolling. The weather this particular weekend has been a challenge. I've caught up on some sleep, done needed things around the house, caught up on errands, and a few other things which is good. However, I caught site of my mountain bike this afternoon and felt really bummed out that I haven't been riding since this past Friday. Yes, some might think that is silly because it has only been a couple of days but if you are one of these, then you just do not understand.

Riding is my way of dealing with life's challenges. I hope that I will always be able to ride my bike....it keeps me young in several ways! Some friendships are surrounded by the sport, others have been failed by it, but regardless it's something that I love!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-890556098994320109.post-43020150057399139132010-10-09T22:32:00.025-06:002010-10-09T23:50:40.897-06:00Park City Dirt Jam-"It's gonna happen"!Today was the Park City Dirt Jam. The weather this past week was a bit rainy and cold in Park City. However, with the help of a committed team of people the event was able take place.

I went up last night and helped Tate, Derick, & Bryce pump out standing water, push dirt around, and mash in the mud. My first thought last night upon arriving at the jumps was: "There is no way this is going to happen.". In fact, I said this to Tate, who had been working for his 3rd consecutive night and had already been working for 3 hours before I arrived. He simply replied without lifting the rake off the ground, "It's gonna happen".

I arrived at the dirt jumps early this morning. Tate & I started setting things up, hanging banners, & placing tarps along the entry way (still too muddy). A short time later, Derick and Bryce showed up with some plywood to place in the transition zones between the jumps. Shortly after that, several other friends, parents, pros, PC Employees, kids, and riders appeared.

It was amazing how many people grabbed shovels, rakes, brooms, plywood, and voluntarily helped prepare the jumps after the wet conditions. It was really cool to see how a free community event brings out the best in people. The feeling of determination was in the air! The weather wasn't going to prevent this event from taking place; "It's gonna happen".

The sponsors were in full force: Red Bull, Brother's Bikes, Bern, Park City Municiple Corp., Skullcandy, White Pine Touring, Mountain Trails, Haro Bikes, and several other businesses (sorry, I can't remember all of them because there were so many). I woke up early and loaded the car and headed south to meet up with my buddy, Mike. We joined up and drove into American Fork Canyon. It was a cold start, but the ride was great. We had planned on riding a new trail in the area called Mill Canyon to Mud Springs:

http://www.utahmountainbiking.com/trails/trailguides/mud-mill-lp-tg.htm

http://connect.garmin.com/activity/50494052

The ride was awesome. Then, a little pressed for time, we descended down Tibble Fork Trail back to the car. Somewhere along the way, I broke a spoke on my rear wheel. Only a few days of rain, and a pretty good 10 day forecast coming up. Thus far, for April I averaged 3 days per week of riding. May was a little better at least up to this point. A few motivators that help include the following.

First I bought a new road bike.
http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=45812&eid=4951&menuItemId=9257

My old bike is nice, but this one is super nice and I figured it was an okay gift to myself for tough times of past.

Second, I love riding with my new GPS. Garmin Edge 705 has some fantastic abilities and it's fun to connect to the website and keep track of all the statistics.

https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=160&pID=10885#

Lastly, I want to ride a century ride this summer. One I've considered in the past is the called the U.L.C.E.R. It's a ride around Utah Lake, and it would be fun to do. I've tried to recruite some friends, but at this point, I may go it alone. It is scheduled for August 7th this year.
Other motivators include some good friends that are fun to ride with, developing new friendships surrounded by riding, fitness, & mountain bike racing.

The most motivating of them all is: kicking Derick's, Tate's, Mike's, Scott's, Dennis', and the rest of the crews' butt AGAIN while riding up Puke Hill and the entire Wasatch Crest Trail.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-890556098994320109.post-69499821062348035262010-05-03T22:59:00.015-06:002010-05-03T23:13:51.773-06:00SLC Supercross 2010

The AMA Supercross stopped in SLC for round 16 this past weekend. I've done many solo trips, and I always come back with a clear focus and renewed determination.

I'm putting together tentative plans for a mountain bike, and hiking trip in the Zion NP area of Southern Utah.

Bike Ride 1:

Bike Ride 2:

Bike Ride 3:

The plan is to ride in the morning and early evenings. I'll ride these trails a few times while I'm in the area. During the day, I'll do the scenic hikes in Zion NP and visit all the 'must see' sights that are easy to access from the road. I've never been to Zion NP, but from what I hear it is quite the place. I'll post pictures to prove the areas I visit.

Following this trip (since the main focus is to bike), I'll be coming back a couple weeks later and backpacking the West Rim in Zion NP. It will be a weekend trip, involving a commercial shuttle unless I'm lucky enough to hitch-hike a ride (or have a friend in the area to give me a lift to the trailhead).

I will post photographs along the way in Blogs to come.

This is only the beginning of the adventures that await me this summer. Others will include more biking, peak-bagging, backpacking, and whatever else I decide to do. This summer will be making up for lost time, and attaining adventure goals I've had for a couple of years. Should be fun!
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-890556098994320109.post-49858802127686994862010-03-10T21:29:00.028-07:002010-03-10T22:47:12.133-07:00Skiing, White Rim Trail, Life's challenges, and the unexpectedOkay, yeah I know, it's been a long time since I've posted. A lot of things have happened in the past several months, but only some of them are worth posting.

This winter has been the poorest snowfall year since I moved to Utah 7 winters ago. However, I'm still trying to make a dent in the number of days spent on the hill. I miss the days whereby I was skiing 100+ days a season. However, the cost of the "American Dream" limits the number of days I get to ski. So far this year, it's not been too many but I've made the best of what I've had.

New this year, I thought I would keep a log of the days I ski with the information recorded on my Suunto Wristop Computer (watch). Here is what I've done so far. Keep in mind I have about 5 to 6 more weeks of skiing at the resorts until places close for the winter; and most importantly and the highlight of the season, Snowbird with the Peart family is still ahead. I have the entire week off, and plan on skiing everyday!

It was a blast. Great company, and fun memories. I guess trips really are "once in a lifetime". Not because I can't do this trip again, but the company probably will not be the same given many reasons. Nonetheless, it was a great trip; one I'm happy I was able to participate in.

I suppose I'm okay with it, but to be honest, I just wish it wasn't this way.

However, I know the uncertainty in my life is what deepens my character as a person. I'm a good man, with tremendous talents, incredible kindness, and remarkable courtesy. Someday, people that once knew me will look back at life and recognize their mistakes.

As baseball players do, I too will stand in the batters box of life and continue to swing at the curveballs that life can throw. I'll go down swinging!

I went to Usana Amphitheater to see George Strait. It was great! Over the years I have seen a lot of different performances, but I have never had the chance to see him. They played for nearly 2 hours and it was a great show! It was fun to see his band members; most of them have been with him nearly the entire time he started his music career in the 80's. For a man born in 1952 to put on such a fun concert, it was worth the cost.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-890556098994320109.post-85866060237155092092009-06-20T23:33:00.003-06:002009-06-20T23:39:04.625-06:00Sold! As most of you know, my house has been up for sale since January 2009. This past week, it finally sold. Considering all that is going on in my life, I suppose that this is fantastic news. It seems that things are just working out and falling into place. I have mixed feelings about selling my home, but it is the right thing to have done and I'm relieved that the stress of doing so is over.

Onto a new chapter in my life!

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-890556098994320109.post-35488787354072500032009-04-29T22:06:00.008-06:002009-04-29T22:17:05.111-06:00Series 66
Nearly five years ago, I acquired this same securities license while with a different Broker/Dealer. A few months ago, the firm (which will remain anonymous for several reasons) announced this license was now a requirement for all brokers I manage, including me. At the time, the announcement was not a big deal considering I assumed that I already had this license. No big deal, right?

Wrong! For unknown reasons to me, the firm did not renew this license and the registration was terminated. What does this mean, you might ask? Well, it means that I had to study and take this exam a second time. Yep, you got it, I was really happy about this!

Regardless, another one under my belt, and I'm happy to have it over with again. All of us are bummed, particularly Tate, but I think I miss skiing with him the most. Deer Valley is a great place to ski, but just isn't the same without my buddy. I've seen a lot of mutual friends and all have expressed their disappointment regarding the injury.

Get better bro! Yesterday, I passed the Series 4 exam and added another professional license to my name. The nice thing with this license, is that my boss doesn't have it. I do not intend to celebrate his failure, that's not my style, but he did not pass the test and has never retaken the exam. It's a nice feeling to have it over with while taking it just once.

The Series 4 exam is for managers supervising options sales personnel or supervising compliance. You must have a Series 7 license before taking the Series 4 exam.

Series 4 Test and Course Information

Test topics include:

Option Strategies
Equity Options
Debt Options
Index Options
Foreign Currencies
Customer Accounts and Orders
Supervision and Compliance
Employee Supervision
Business Conduct
Record keeping & Reporting Requirements

I am happy to have this one completed, and it proves to be a very valuable license.

Sometimes, achievements come with great work and sacrifice.......but the reward it worth it.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-890556098994320109.post-82086424019824148872008-08-16T19:20:00.010-06:002008-08-16T19:33:26.924-06:00Tour of Utah Criterium-Stage 3Last night was Stage 3 of The Tour of Utah. It was really cool to be downtown SLC and see this event live. The riders are amazing. The weather was beautiful and the company was even better.

I put together a short slide show highlighting some of the photos I took from the event. It was fantastic and I'm glad I went. I have to admit I've been inspired a little bit by a girl (no names for now) but let's just say she is pretty darn cool. She has ridden LOTOJA twice and taken 9th, and 10th in her category both years. Yes, it's intimidating for me to ride with her; I can admit that with a humility! LOL! This Friday night we are going to downtown SLC to watch Stage 3 of the 2008 Tour of Utah, the Criterium stage. I went a couple of years ago and it was very cool to watch the event.

The toughest stage is ahead of them scheduled for Saturday. The Queen Stage of the Tour of Utah is a brute; 14,778 feet of climbing in 99 miles. Riders will see five KOM’s on their way to the finish at beautiful Snowbird Ski Resort in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Along the way they will tackle the tough climb past Sundance ski resort, up and over the Alpine loop into American Fork Canyon.

Park City to Snowbird Course:

4 Climbs - Mountain Top

Finish Length: 98.1 miles, 159 kms

Climbing: 14,778 ft., 4,504 meters

I'm amazed at how committed the athletes are and by their achievements. It was a blast. I had a great time and enjoyed their company. We kept busy and played as much as possible. We went to a movie, pulled weeds, went rockclimbing, hiking, wakeboarding, biking, played guitar hero (Cody Rocks), went to the Days of 47 Rodeo, and other things. I'm grateful to have a fantastic father and a great nephew. Thanks for hanging out and keeping it real! I miss you already!

Enjoy the slide show of just a few of the things we enjoyed!

My mom was in town as well and she spent the week with her siblings. Sadly, her brother has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. My thoughts & prayers go out to him and his family. We love you Steve!

All of us went to The Osmonds 50 Years performance for Pioneer Day. It was really awesome to see them in concert and it was a great time to hang out with my mom as well.

Thanks everyone for the fun week and great memories!
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
